What this site does not do

This site has no contact form, no user accounts and no shop. It sets no cookies and uses no advertising tools. Traffic is measured with a tool installed on our own servers, described below. No data is sold, rented or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.

Data processed

If you write to us. Contact links open your email client. We then receive your email address, the name you give and the content of your message. This data is used only to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a quote — which falls under steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Server logs. Our host automatically records technical data when you visit: IP address, date and time, pages viewed. It serves to keep the site running and secure, under our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use it for any other purpose and do not combine it with any other information.

Traffic measurement

We measure site traffic with Umami, an open-source tool we host ourselves: the statistics never leave our servers and are passed to no one.

Umami sets no cookies and does not keep your IP address: it is used only to compute a hashed visit identifier, renewed every day, which allows neither recognising you from one day to the next nor tracking you across other sites. What is recorded is the page viewed, the site you came from, and general technical information: country, language, device type and browser.

This processing rests on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Because it sets no tracker and cannot identify you, it does not require your prior consent and therefore warrants no cookie banner.

Recipients

Your messages arrive in a Gmail mailbox: they are therefore hosted by Google, whose servers may sit outside the European Union. The site is hosted by HopeHeberg, which produces the technical logs mentioned above. Traffic statistics stay on our own servers and are shared with no third party. No other recipient has access to this data.

Retention periods

Email exchanges are kept for three years from our last contact, in line with the CNIL recommendation on prospecting. Data needed for a contractual relationship is kept for the duration of the work, then for the statutory accounting retention periods. Server logs are kept according to the host's own policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may:

• access the data we hold about you
• have it corrected or erased
• restrict its processing
• object to its processing
• request its portability
